Financial Statement to 30th November 2024

Dear Club Members,

I am pleased to attach the Financial Statement for the ten month period ended 30th November 2024.  

During the month, the Committee implemented a suspension of the competition related 10% levy to Members Funds which increased prize payouts in the month by e125.

Members Funds at the period end are e4,080 and remain substantially ahead of the targeted reduction to e2,500 with, currently, no quantified initiatives to judiciously reduce it meaningfully towards the Captaincy Year end target.

Financial Statement to 31st October 2024

Dear Club Members,

I am pleased to attach the Financial Statement for the nine month period ended 31st October.  The Committee is aware that Members Funds, at e4,213, are some way ahead of the Captaincy Year-end targeted amount of e2,500.  The Committee is actively considering judicious ways to make headway towards the year end target over the coming months.

Financial Statement to 31st July, 2024

Dear Club Members,
I am pleased to attach the Financial Statement for the six month period ended 31st July.  If you should have any questions on any of the information shown, please don’t hesitate to seek clarification.
At this stage in the 2024 Captaincy year, the Committee has returned to Members an amount of e14,058 in the form of Pro Shop prize vouchers, wine prizes,  F&B benefits and entertainment.  This is equivalent to e1.09 for every e1.00 of competition entry fees and has only been possible due to the significant sponsorship efforts of our Vice Captain – well done Catrin.

Financial Statement for 31st May 2024

Dear Club Members,
 
I am pleased to provide theTreasurer’s Financial Statement for the period ended 31st May 2024.
 
I wish to draw your attention to the following:
 
1. The brought forward Members Funds balance at 26/1/24 has been re-instated as explained in the Committee Minutes of the meeting held on 21st May 2024 – posted earlier today to the members’ website;
2. Member’s Funds moved from a Surplus (at end April) to a Deficit (at end May) – a month movement of e(302);
3. Competition related net income benefited substantially from sponsorship income secured by the Vice Captain from 24/7 Security (of e500) and Vassiliades Winery (of e410) and a donation from the Captain (of e50), all related to the Club Championships;
4. Offsetting the substantial sponsorship income, and made possible only be having secured such sponsorship, was the cost of e(900) to cover the free buffet at the Presentation Ceremony and a cost of e(200) paid to the performers at that Ceremony (the financial benefit of which went to the Captain’s Charity);
5. At the Presentation Ceremony, an interim donation of e2,000 was presented to the Captain’s Charity.  Consequently, the amount shown under the section “Charity Related Efforts” of e2,095 differs by e2,000 from the amount shown as “Provision for Captain’s donation to nominated charity” of e95.
6. The Committee remain targeted towards a year end Members Funds balance of e2,500.
