Following member feedback and in-depth consultations between the Committee and Adam, Director of Golf some changes have been made. Full Local Rules will be published on the Portal asap.
Changes below are Effective from Saturday 31st August 2024
Bell – if your ball hits the bell and/or post, you MUST cancel the stroke and play again from original place.
Bridges – all of these are INSIDE Pemalty Areas. Option to play the ball as it lies OR take Penalty Relief as per Penalty Area rules.
Provisional Ball – Modified Local Rule
To allow Provisional Ball option when it is NOT KNOWN if ball is in Penalty Area.
Ball found in Pen Area – play as it lies OR Provisional Ball is the ball in play with the usual penalty.
You MUST NOT use other Penalty Area relief options.
Hole 6
* Cart path, kerbs and gravel path have FREE relief from the Dropping Zone or play as it lies
* Red Penalty Area now includes right of cart path, river area AND the former grass island. Play as it lies OR Penalty Relief by Rule 17 or extra option at Dropping Zone.
