I would like to personally thank all of the member who participated in today's St. George's Day. I would like to especially thank those members who attend the prize giving presentation today.  It was great to see members at the prize presentation.  These events do not happen by themselves There is a lot of work behind the scenes.  All of the prizes and the raffle were coordinated by Ted McMichael, Jamie Evans and the Pro shop staff.  Thanks to Ted's  efforts, we raised 305 euros for the captain's charity.

I would also like to make a special thanks Pamela Mills who  very generously donated a little box containing earrings and a locket necklace, €100 cash and a very good bottle of Ouzo.  As an aside until recently she was the oldest playing member of SV but now in need of a new hip, shoulder and knee.   Thanks you so much Pamela!!

There were also a lot of members who donated prize for the raffle, and I cannot thank them enough.  Finally it was great to see members support my charity by buying raffle tickets.

I leave tomorrow to the USA for some family weddings, but I will be back in mid May just in time for the club championships.

I woudl like to thank all those who attended the Quiz Night on Friday.  We were able to raise 245 euros for  the Captain's Charity.  We had 49 players and all the money paid went to charity. Toma an Hillar donated 10 bottle's of wine.  The winning team each received a bottle of win and the rest were given away as raffle prizes.

Our next quiz night will be on Friday June 2nd.
