I am delighted to inform you that we have not only reached our goal of €15,000 but have exceeded it by over €3,000 in just eight months! I want to extend my sincerest thanks to each and every one of you who contributed through your participation in our events, whether on the course, buying a number of the 150 Club , joining the Quiz Nights, or “rent” the Captain’s Charity Parking Place. A special shout-out goes to our sponsors this year, whose generosity has been instrumental in supporting this important project.
Today, we celebrated the symbolic handover of “our” family room. Room number 10 will now proudly showcase our SV logo as a door sign for the next three years. As you can see in the photos (photos and the video available on our website), the rooms have been designed with tremendous care, love and creativity. Unfortunately, I couldn’t take a photo of our specific room, as it was occupied by a family at the time.
The demand for this support is significant, and the complex is currently being expanded to include four additional family rooms. Georgia, the director of the organization, informed me today that they are always in need of volunteers who can spare some time occasionally. I warmly invite each of you to visit the Ronald McDonald House personally and witness the remarkable work being done there.
