Quiz Night Friday, 20 October 2023

Dear members,

I would like to thank all the members and guests that attended the quiz night on Friday October 20th.  Our quiz masters were Trevor and Meg Fordham who did a wonderful job – Thank you!!  A special thanks to Toma and her staff for keeping everyone well fed an lubricated.  It was a long night for Toma's crew!
We were able to raise 235 euros for the captain's charity (Autism).  Our next and final quiz night of 2023 will be Friday, November 10th.  I hope many of you will be able to attend.

Our next quiz night is Friday, October 20 and our quiz master will be Trevor Fordham.  The quiz will start at 19:00 (7:00 PM).  Please arrive not later than 18:30 (6:30 PM)
If you with to attend, please book a table with Toma at the bar not later that Wednesday October 18th.  If you do not have a team, just let Toma know you are coming and we can work out teams on the night.

Reminder – Quiz Night Wednesday, September 20th

REMINDER…

The next quiz night will be Wednesday, September 20, 2023.  Please arrive by 6:30 pm for a 7:00 pm start.  Our last quiz night was a great success with over 40 participants.  Please make sure you book in with Toma in advance so they can ensure they have enough staff to support the event.

The quiz master will be Ted McMichael.

Captain’s Day 2023

Dear members,

I would like to thank all of the members and guests that generously supported Captain's Day yesterday. It was an amazing day and I hope all of you had a great time.  Amazingly we were able to get 108 golfers around the course in under 5 hours.
We managed to raise a total of 2,525 euros for the Captain's charity (Autism).  This brings our total for the year to 7,153 euros. My target of 10,000 euros is well within sight.
