Dam Update

Dear SVGR Members

With regards to recent news reports on the nearby reservoir, we would like to inform you that the Secret Valley golf resort is operating normally.

The reservoir is located 2km above the resort and has been overflowing since January this year. It is being constantly monitored by members of staff and the relevant government authorities.

Should there be any change, we will advise you directly.

After numerous complaints over the weekend, can we please remind you to repair ANY pitchmarks you find on the greens. The greenstaff are working very hard to get the greens in top condition for our season and need our help, so please help them to keep your greens in good condition.

GRAZIE ROUND 1 RESULTS

1st. George Davies. 39pts on countback

2nd. Joanna Roussinia also 39pts

3rd. Grant Munro 36pts again, on countback.

There were only 4 twos, each winning 15 euros.

Due to this years AGM being held at @2pm on Sat the 8th after the monthly Stableford and the number of entries for this competition, the presentation for the stableford will take place after the Captains drive in on the 15th February.

Perfect Partners Results Round 1

Dear SVGR Members,

Thanks to all 55 members who played in round 1 of Perfect Partners, a great, if slightly damp, day was enjoyed by all.

The winners with 44 points were Roy Bialowas and Alex Butchart. 2nd. Tony Didlick and Ioannis Ntinos with 42 points on Countback from 3rd. Shelagh Koulaouzos and Iona Elliott, also with 42 points. There were 6 twos, winning 8 euros each. Prizes will be in the blue tin in the pro shop.
