3rd. Graham “the bandit” Highet with a lacklustre 41 points.

Greensomes Results

Thanks to all who played in this fun greensomes Stableford in hot conditions on Tuesday.
Winners with a superb 41 points were Trevor and Meg Fordham who we wish well on their upcoming trip to UK,
In second place was Danny Martin and Grant Munro with 40 points, beating on count back, Jamie Evans and his partner who let him down several times,  Graham Highet.
Nearest the pins were won by Dave Grant and Janet Reader.

Thanks to all of you who participated in today’s competition. A warm and windy day produced some great results.
1st. Shelagh K with a a magnificent 40 points off her new and soon to be gone handicap.
2nd with a great 37 points was Robert Humphries  and 3rd was Dave Grant beating 4 others on countback with 36.
Please get your names down for next Tuesdays waltz competition asap, we will be trying to match the teams up as close as possible and expect a fierce competition!
If you require a buggy, please let the pro shop know as this greatly helps the caddiemasters.

Match V Aphrodite Hills

Thanks to all SVGR Members who took part in the away fixture on Tuesday.
A warm day with the course in superb condition and very tricky greens, saw the home team run out 8 &1/2. To 1 &1/2 victors, even though 4 of the games finished on the last hole.
A lovely meal and great company was enjoyed by all. We look forward to gaining revenge later in the year.

InterClub Result v Elea

Dear SVGR Members
The return match against Elea took place on the warmest day of the year so far and the sneaky Elea team had all booked buggies which in hindsight was a great idea in the humid, sultry conditions.
Despite all bar one of the matches going to the last couple of holes and a couple of monster puts for a half on the last from Elea, the brave men and ladies from the home club were left nursing a 7-3 loss.
A great day with friends was had by all and we look forward gaining revenge next season.
