Dear Secret Valley Golf Club Member,
Based on the limited advice we have received and our current understanding of the recently updated Government announced Covid-19 protocols, which are available for you to review on the Cyprus Government web site, we are pleased to inform you that Secret Valley will be open to members and their guests from Monday 8th February.
Until further notice, the following protocols will be implemented and required to be strictly adhered to by all players at Secret Valley.
1. Bookings limited to 4 balls with ten-minute tee time intervals.
2. Use of hire buggy’s permitted, subject to wet weather conditions.
3. All safety protocols previously in effect and previously communicated to you including, no bunker rakes, no ball washers, no towels or use of shower facilities, restricted access to golf shop, and mandatory wearing of masks except while playing on golf course.
4. Driving range closed until further notice, although pre-booked lessons will be allowed.
5. Members to collect and store their own golf clubs and trolleys – staff available to assist only due to medical conditions.
6. No more than four (4) members/guests are to congregate in one place, including the half-way house and car park areas- this protocol will be strictly monitored and enforced.
7. All members/guests must have an Antigen Rapid Test no more than 7 days prior to date of play confirming a negative test result as specifically required by revised government protocols.
8. All members/guests playing at Secret Valley will be required prior to tee off to sign our track and trace form which now includes confirmation that the signing party has had the Antigen Rapid Test within the past 7 days and has shown negative test results.
9. Should a member/guest not sign the track and trace form or advise they have not undergone an Antigen Rapid Test within the past 7 days, I unfortunately, have instructed Golf Shop staff to withdraw playing rights until such test result is confirmed.
Please also note that;
· All staff, as required by the updated Covid-19 protocols, will have undergone Antigen Rapid Tests and will be required to repeat such tests every 7 days until requirement is removed by the government.
· The half- way house will be open for takeaway service only. Members/guests are requested to not congregate at the half way house and where possible place a pre-order by calling the half – way house in advance.
· The restaurant, bar and balconies will remain closed until further notice, however takeaway Tuesday Curry and Fisherman Friday takeaways, which have both proved very popular with members and guests alike will continue as usual.

· The golf shop will be attended by a staff member 7 days per week from 6.30 am to 4.30 pm until further notice.
· Golf bookings will be open to non- members/guests as from Thursday 11th February.
We sincerely hope that you understand the protocols set out above are required for us to re-open and offer you the opportunity to once again enjoy our wonderful golf course.
So please ensure there are no illegal gatherings at the half way house or the clubhouse before or after your game.
Please arrive, confirm you have been tested, enjoy your game and depart safely. I am sure these inconveniences will be temporary and we will soon be back to a more normal playing environment.
