If you have or are considering submitting General Play Scores for Handicap Management, please take time to read this email and the documents in the hyperlinks.
General Play Scores (previously known as Extra Day Scores) submitted via MyCGF.
Before submission, the following conditions must be met as per the WHS Rules of Handicapping Cyprus Edition dated 12 Jan 21.
A score is acceptable for handicap purposes if the round has been played:
- In an authorized format of play (see Rule 2.1a) – For example: Stroke Play / Stableford.
- Over 18-holes for score to be acceptable (see Rule 2.2)
- In the company of at least one other player, who must have an active Cyprus Golf Federation License and who may also act as a marker.
- Played by the Rules of Golf (see Rule 2.1b) – No Gimmies! The Player must putt out.
- The player’s score must always be certified by the Marker, in accordance with the Rules of Handicapping (see Rule 4.4).
- If one or more of the requirements set out above is not met, the score is not acceptable for handicap purposes.
