Dear SVGC Members
Please find attached the winners sheets for the Troon Trophy held on Saturday 27th January, 2018 and The Senior Order of Merit, held on Tuesday 30th January, 2018.
In addition, 4 younger persons also played on Tuesday, with Jack Dyer winning with 36 points.
In February 2018 we have the following competitions:-
Sat 3rd Multi Tee Medal
Tues 6th Troon Trophy (Round 3)
Wed 14th Valentine’s Competition
Sat 17th 4BBB
Tues 20th Senior OOM
Sat 24th Multi Tee Stableford
Sun 25th Troon Trophy (Round 4)
Tues 27th Multiplier (Pairs comp)
In addition, I will arrange a weekday to play Round 1 of the Troon Trophy (weather postponement), hopefully in February.
If you cannot get to the Red Book, please send me an e-mail at [email protected] stating which competition and preferred tee time period. If it is a Troon Trophy comp – whether you wish it to be one on your 10 qualifying rounds. For Multi Tee comps, the default is white and blue tees respectively, unless you state otherwise.
The 1st March is St David’s Day – any Welsh players please let me know if you would like to get involved in hosting – as the Scottish did on St Andrew’s Day. Also the 17th is St Patrick’s Day, so the same goes for any Irish players.
There will be a prize presentation night on 9th March, as well as being a social to introduce new members and a golf quiz for a bit of entertainment. This will be hosted by the Club Captain and it would be nice to see SVGC Members support the event. Prizes will be for January and February.
In finishing, if you have money from a ‘2’ coming your way, please see me as I have your cash!
