It is with pleasure that I wish to announce our first inter-club team selection for Season 2025.
On Wed 12 th March 2025, the SVGC team is drawn to play against Minthis at the Minthis GolfClub, and the first tee grouping will start at 8:00am (and 9 min intervals thereafter).
General Information:
1. Team photo opportunities – all SVGC team members are asked to arrive at Minthis
ahead of the first tee time for a group photo. A second group photo may be arranged
during the luncheon.

The driving range, practice bunker, chipping area, and putting green will be available for
your warm-up practice ahead of your tee time (to be advised shortly).

2. Club polo – all club members are asked to wear the SVGC hot-pink polo and navy-blue bottoms (ie. trousers, shorts, skirts).
A small stock of the SVGC hot-pink polos (in limited sizing) are available in the Proshop.
The polos are offered ‘free-of-charge’ for new team members. Note that an additional
batch of SVGC hot-pink polos will be ordered shortly for the upcoming interclub
matches in 2025.
If you are unable to source a SVGC hot-pink polo from the Proshop, please wear your
own hot-pink polo for this Minthis match.

3. Teams – there are two competing teams of 20x players each, comprising 6x ladies and
14x gents, respectively. There will be 10 flights of 4x players each. Team match play
rules apply. The ladies will play from the red tees and the gents will play from the yellow tees. Maximum handicaps apply for the ladies (36) and for the gents (28).

4. Lunch – Minthis will offer a ‘wrap’ lunch in their downstairs restaurant to follow the group matches. The cost of the wrap is Euro 9 pp (and drinks are extra). Cash payment is preferred. Details of the wrap options will follow shortly.
