Captains Shootout

Dear SVGR Members,

The Captains shoot out took place on a very warm Wednesday afternoon, which was great fun with a serious golfing element to the competition.

With all players not wanting to be eliminated early, it was a cagey affair in both both groups.

In the Ladies competition Meg Fordham and Olga Pushakova were the final two standing on the 18th, with Olga coming out as this year's Ladies champion.

In the mens section, the oldies couldn't keep up with the young guns and both Jack Dyer and Joseph Beasant had a close fought 18th that ended with Jack winning the final shootout to claim his third success in a row.

Congratulations to all who earned their place and we look forward to next year's challenge.
