Dear members,
I am continuing to coordinate the aid to Ukrainian families in Paphos, and last year our Club nominated Ukrainian children in Paphos as the charity to which members would donate a present, and place them under the Christmas Tree placed in the Club Foyer.
Through a generous sponsorship, I then held a Christmas Lunch at the Club for 55 women
with their children, when the presents were handed over to the children attending, and the
remainder handed out when they held their own Christmas party at the Ukrainian Centre in Paphos.

This year, I am delighted that I have again received the sponsorship to hold the Christmas
lunch for around 55-60 women and their children. However, the Club this year, have decided to nominate another charity to which members can donate the presents. Due to the large increase in rents in Paphos this year, the majority of Ukrainian women working as cleaners, waitresses, etc have seen a sharp deterioration in their net income available to buy food, pay for electricity etc, let alone having spare funds to spend on Christmas presents for their children.

Since the Club's decision , a large number of members have approached me , as they wish to continue to provide a present for the Ukrainian children, as well as supporting the Club's charity to be nominated.
I have therefore agreed with Nadia, who runs the Aristo sales office, at the lower
roundabout in Secret Valley, that she will accept these presents from members, and place
them around their own Christmas tree. Her office is open Monday to Friday 9am to 5 pm and 9am to 1pm on Saturday. I can also be contacted to collect any presents.

Could I please ask that any gifts donated are clearly labelled with either boy or girl. and
which age range they are designated for. The age ranges should be 1-3 years ; 4-6 years ; 7-10 years ; 11-15 years
