Dear Secret Valley Members,
Over the past few months, we have experienced several Members failing to turn up for both individual and team competitions having entered to play. While some Members have made contact to withdraw their entry at a very late stage, there have also been some who have just failed to turn up and not contacted anyone to let them know. This is discourteous to playing partners, especially in team competitions, as well as to cause the Competition Secretary severe difficulties in re-organizing the draws.
No Shows are potentially denying other Members a chance to play as competition entries are starting to be over-subscribed on some tournaments and reserve waiting lists are in operation. Should you be unable to attend at late notice we would at the very least, expect you to take the following actions:
1. Email the Competition Secretary in the first instance to advise of your withdrawal.
2. If that is not possible or it is too late to do that, PHONE the Pro Shop and advise a member of staff. Please make sure you know who to speak to to avoid any non-communication errors.

Failure to comply the above procedure could lead to the Committee asking you for an explanation and possible sanctions on entering further competitions for a period of time. Obviously, we are aware that illness and sometimes, unplanned events will take precedence and members have no control over these events. All we would ask, is for you contact someone at the earliest opportunity so as to limit any disruption to your fellow members.
