I wish to thank you all for the massive and generous support you gave on Saturday to help Loukas. In every respect the day was amazing. The atmosphere on the course and back on the balcony was truly incredible. So many of you stayed to welcome the Adamou family and friends, and they, in turn, were astounded by the warmth and generosity extended by the members of SVGC. To say I am lost for words is something of an understatement!
The CEO of Prime Insurance had travelled from Nicosia and he was very impressed. He told me that he had no idea such a beautiful place existed. He was amazed by the warmth and generosity extended on the balcony. He couldn’t believe that our club could be so kind and thoughtful for this young man. Isn’t it wonderful that we made that impression.
The total achieved is in excess of €5000 but more money has been promised and I think we can expect a very generous amount.
The support so warmly given by members and local people demonstrates the kindness, thoughtfulness, compassion and generosity of individuals who wanted to help.
The list of individuals, who contributed in so many ways, is extensive. That so many wanted to help is truly heartwarming.
I am so proud of the members, indeed indebted to all for ensuring the Loukas Adamou Golf Day was such a success.
