Hello everyone
Just to update you all about Loukas.
Loukas is now halfway through his chemotherapy sessions with 6 more over the coming weeks. He attends the German Oncology Centre in Limassol every 2 weeks for the treatment which last 4 – 5 hours. The treatment has brought one or 2 complications, such as disrupting normal red/white blood cell count, but this can be helped with further medications. As you will know chemo treatment can be harsh.
The good news is that Loukas is responding well to treatment and his tumours have been gradually reducing in size. Loukas looks well and is very positive about his future. He has perhaps a little less hair than he had, but it will grow again.
The support demonstrated by so many members at SVGC is very much appreciated by Loukas and his supportive family. He is extremely grateful to members and still is quite overwhelmed by their generosity and support.
