Dear Members,
So far in 2026 I have temporarily hung up the golf clubs for running shoes as I have took on the challenges of long distance running, In 2026 I have completed my first ever half marathon and recently done a 30km run in Famagusta, and now I am about to embark on my hardest challenge yet. On Sunday 28th February 2027, I'll be taking on a personal challenge and running my first-ever marathon at the TUI Pafos Marathon.
I'm proud to be doing this in support of Lucas Adamou. Over the years the Columbia Secret Valley Golf community has shown tremendous support for Lucas and his family, and I'd love to continue that support through this challenge.
If you would like to sponsor me and contribute towards Lucas Adamou's fundraising effort, please feel free to come and see me in the Pro Shop at Columbia Secret Valley. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will be greatly appreciated.
I'll also be sharing a few updates along the way as my marathon training progresses.
Thank you in advance for your generosity and support. It really means a lot.
Kind regards,
Andrew Cave
