Captain’s Shootout Results

Dear Members,

The Captain's shootout was played on Wednesday May 18th @ 14:30.

The Men teed off first.  There were 9 men and 9 ladies as one man dropped out due to sickness and one lady dropped out due to injury. .It was a bit surreal to see 9 golfers on the first hole.

Over the first few holes the nerves got to a few contenders and they dropped out one by one.

In the end, on the 18th hole it was Skip Stuhlpfarrer and Andrew Wierzba for the men 

Andrej had a putt for birdie to win on the last hole but it just slipped out, so it went to a chip off.  In the chip off, Skip was able to get closer to the hole and won.

For the ladies it was Li Min Ma and Debbie Ranrwell.

Debbie was able to reach the green in 3 shots and Li Min reached in 4 shots. Debbie sank the putt for birdie and won.

280 euros collected

80 euros to Captain's Charity

200 euros paid to 2 winners (100 euros each)

290 euros collected

50 euros to Captain's Charity

240 euros paid to the 12 winners (20 euros each)

80 + 50 + 110 (direct donations) = 240 euros
