The Club Committee in its most recent meeting with the Director of Golf, agreed to issue a weekly rules bulletin.

We want to start these off with Scorecards – most of you know how to complete a Scorecard, but quite a few of you don’t and these are the ones getting Disqualified.  But it may just be you didn’t get 2 signatures.

The first picture shows what the Marker, Player and Committee (if they produce scorecards) are responsible for – this applies to all Strokeplay competitions.

The 2nd picture is for a Texas Scramble – a typical fun competition – but where each player has to have a certain number of drives.  One way of showing the drives is to enter the score in the column of the player who has driven off.  This can also be used in Waltz’s; 4BBB etc.

Notice too how the Team Handicap of 8 has been circled in the SI column to remind the Marker where they get shots.  The first number is the gross/then net and points in the end column.

If your playing a team comp with ladies and its not individual scores to make up the team score – remember to only use the Men’s SI not the ladies.  Top tip, cross through the Ladies SI to avoid confusion.
