Hello current and future members of the 150 club,

As has been communicated by our Club Captain Mr Brian Shubrook, the 150 club will be run this year by myself, Sabina Hughes, with help from Diane Pownall.

The 2026 Captains Charity is the St Michael’s Hospice in Paphos. It is an independent, not for profit organisation, providing palliative and respite care since 2015.

The 150 club is a season long raffle with cash prizes that benefits the Captain’s charity. It is open to all members, their family and friends and any other guests. We would like to encourage you all to purchase a number and be in for a chance to win some great cash prizes.

Each number can be purchased for €50 and multiple numbers can be bought. There will be 11 draws throughout the year, the first being in March 2026. The final draw with a total cash payout of €1100 will be made at the presentation evening in January 2027.

The monthly prizes are as follows;

1st €100, 2nd €75, 3rd €50 and 4th €25

The final draw prizes in January 2027 are as follows;

1st €500, 2nd €300, 3rd €200 and 4th €100

We would like to invite all current members of the 150 club to confirm their continued membership. Your number allocation will remain as it is. We would encourage any newcomers to support this worthy charity by emailing us at [email protected] and [email protected]. You will then be allocated a number/s for the draw.

Payments can be made in the following manner:

1. Cash paid direct to Sabina Hughes or Diane Pownall (club members).
2. By a one off direct debit to Eurobank Account (previously Hellenic) in the name of Sabina Alison Hughes. IBAN REF CY68 0050 0595 0005 9510 K091 6201. It would be helpful if you include the reference of “150 club” and your full name.  (Please also email Sabina or Diane confirming the same.)
3. Handed to the Pro Shop in a sealed envelope clearly marked with your name and 150 Club. (Please also email Sabina or Diane confirming the same).

Please make your payments prior to 10 March to be in with a chance of winning the first draw. We look forward to hearing from you all. Don’t forget you have to be in it to win it!
