Allocation of Competition Slots & Reserve List

Dear Members,
 
As unanimously agreed at the Committee Meeting held on Thu 5 May 22, the Allocation of Competition Slots & Reserve List has been updated.
 

DRAW NOTES

 
 
 
The On-Line entry will close at midnight 7 days before the date of the competition.
The order in which an individual member will be admitted into the Draw is according to their type of Membership Category as follows:

1 – Platinum
2 – Gold
3 – Twilight/Weekend
4 – Juniors
5 – Executive
6 – Corporate
7 – Staff

Reserve List
When competition entries exceed the spaces available, members will be placed on the Reserve List also based on these categories, strictly by date/time of On-Line Entry and will be allocated in this order.
Members applying to enter a Competition AFTER the Closing date, will be placed on the Reserve List strictly in order of the request being received by the Competition Secretary, irrespective of Membership Category and will be allocated in this order.
Members declining a space in the competition will be removed from the Reserve List.

Ukrainian Refugee Update

A special thank you to the 6 members ( out of a total membership of over 350 ) who responded to my appeal for funds,  to enable the rental of apartments for the Refugees, and ease the present chronic overcrowding. These monies, together with a strong response from the Paphos community, has enabled me to rent 3 apartments for a minimum period of 6 months. To witness the families reaction as they move into their new apartments is worth all the effort involved.

 

A extra special BIG thank you to the member who has donated a 2 bedroom apartment in Paphos for a lengthy period. Very much appreciated.

 

I have now removed the basket for food etc, and this will be my last update.

 

But I received many verbal promises of support which have not yet been realised, so please contact me at [email protected] if you are willing to support further.

Club Championship Presentation Dinner – 29 May 2022

Dear members,

 

The Club championships are in 3 weeks (May 28th and 29th).  We will again be doing a presentation dinner on the Sunday in the artificial grass area below the clubhouse that overlooks the golf academy.  We plan to have Live music by Dex Duo.  We hope you take this opportunity to have a fun filled night socializing  with other members and dancing to the music provided by Dex Duo.
